Electric Tile Cutters are required to cut through tougher materials and can be equipped with a variety of different cutting discs to meet the task at hand.
Unlike manual machines which use a score and snap function, electric machines instead use water for 'wet based' cuts, which prevents the cutting disc from burning out when cutting through the material. This not only preserves the durability of the cutting disc but also provides cleaner and more professional cuts to the material for a quality finish.
